NJAA AWARDS "TIGER" WITH FIRST ANNUAL "LIFETIME ACHIEVEMENT AWARD" AT VIP PARTY
Our Cancha

The National Jai-Alai Association has awarded Ralph "Tiger" Butts, of "Tigers Jai-Alai Heaven" as it's first recipient of the "Lifetime Achievement Award" for dedication to the sport of jai-alai.

The award was handed out at it's VIP Reception Party held Saturday evening, January 26th, in conjunction of the Orlando Citrus Tournament. There were about 40 attendees, including several former pro players like Benny, Randy, Eduardo and Mondra. Ring announcer Mark Beiro was also in attendance.

A wide selection of Spanish beers, food and sangria was served to get everybody into the jai-alai spirit as the exciting Citrus tournament was just a couple miles away.

"Tiger" is a well known name in jai-alai with his "Tigers Jai-alai Heaven" web site with more information and updates on jai-alai then anybody else. He estimates thousands of hours of work have gone into his web site. He also promises much on his site shortly. It was an honor to have him attend and we look forward to next years party and presentation.
